Becoming Accredited in Insights Discovery®

Insights Discovery® can help people perform at their highest level by enhancing their self-awareness. The tool allows individuals to adapt and connect with others, resulting in workplaces where innovation, creativity and productivity thrive.
Insights Discovery uses a language of colour that is simple to understand and easy to remember using a four-colour model. Every person has all four colour energies within them, but it is the combination of these energies which creates each unique personality. Whether you prefer to lead with Earth Green, Cool Blue, Sunshine Yellow or Fiery Red energy, our approach is to show you how to combine your colour energies to best effect, to get the best out of you and those around you.
To enable individuals and teams to make the most of Insights Discovery, the tool is accompanied by 121 coaching or team workshops, and it can be used as the basis for wider programmes too - from Personal Leadership to Leading Change, from Team Effectiveness to Sales Effectiveness.

How can we help you start using Insights Discovery?
There are three main ways in which we can help you start using Insights:
- Done for you: here, we run sessions for you - either as standalone sessions or as part of a wider programme;
- Do it yourself: here, we support you to become a Licensed Practitioner or Client Practitioner which means you get to deliver workshops yourself;
- Done with you: this is our hybrid solution where we work alongside you co-facilitating workshops.
Licensed and Client Practitioners - what's the difference?
Licensed Practitioners are independent coaches, facilitators and trainers who are looking to add Insights Discovery to the toolkit they use with their clients. This often extends and deepens the solutions available to clients.
Client Practitioners are in-house coaches, facilitators and trainers who seek to have an in-house capability of using Insights Discovery. This saves time and money for the organisation, plus delegates get the added benefit of development workshops delivered by colleagues who they know and trust, and who know the business challenges inside and out.
Either way, as a Practitioner, you gain the flexibility to:
- Design and deliver your own sessions using Insights Discovery
- Offer a trusted, accessible model to support self-awareness, communication, and collaboration
- Work with individuals and teams using a proven, colour-based framework that sticks
Accreditation allows you to bring the tool to life in your own voice, while being backed by the rigour and credibility of the Insights brand.
Who can become Accredited?
At the Insights Discovery Accreditation itself, delegates will be taught everything they need to know about working with Discovery; however, it's assumed that they have one or two years facilitation and/ or coaching experience already. All Accreditations are run by Insights HQ to ensure consistency of standards and, as your Insights Partner, we support you throughout the Accreditation and beyond - making sure you have what you need to be successful.
Delegates would also need to know a little bit about Insights Discovery, having attended a workshop or had a coaching session with their profile. Some knowledge of other psychometric tools or theories is really useful too.
What can you expect from the Insights Discovery Accreditation (IDA)?
The IDA can be delivered face to face or virtually and there are dates throughout the year. The programme, which is set out below, is 4-days (consecutive) and requires both pre- and post-work. Watch this video to get an idea about what to expect.
