Coaching

As with coaches in the world of football and tennis, executive coaches are now seen as an essential part of the leader’s armoury. Our professional coaches work in partnership with you to deliver increased levels of performance, motivation and effectiveness from your senior people.

We don’t do remedial coaching. We work with people who are already successful and want to achieve even more

Our coaching programmes:

  • quickly achieve maximum, sustainable behavioural change
  • utilise proven, robust methodologies
  • identify measurable and compelling goals that have a direct link to business objectives
  • heighten self awareness, build commitment that leads to action and provide the mechanism for participants to hold themselves more accountable.

Recent assignments have included:

  • Preparing to step down from a Chairman role (Healthcare sector)
  • Helping prepare for promotion to Director level (Accountancy firm)
  • Developing Business Development capability in a tough market (Design Agency)
  • On-boarding a new Board Director to ensure a smooth transition (Oil and Gas industry)
  • Helping a senior manager decide on next career step (Healthcare sector)
  • Developing strategic HR skills and thinking (Utilities sector)
  • Raising self awareness and impact of behaviour on others (Financial Services industry)
  • Preparing to exit a company (major charity)
  • Developing a coaching style of management (Construction sector)
  • Coping with stressful work (Portfolio Manager in the City)
  • Increasing self-confidence and self-belief (Accountancy firm)
  • Time management and personal effectiveness and efficiency (Engineering company)
  • Re-motivating a person after poor promotion decision (Service sector)

Whether you are introducing coaching to your organisation for the first time or are experienced in the benefits that come from using external coaches, we will ensure that your needs are defined, met and the results evaluated. We work hard to integrate the coaching process so that it supports your business aspirations and other company initiatives.

Why coaching works:

  • sessions easily fit around the working day, and typically take between 1 and 2 hours at a time
  • the individual has the opportunity to develop new skills and behaviours at every session
  • the learning is centred around the individual’s current work, challenges and frustrations – and so it is directly applicable
  • a coaching programme provides for the repetition needed by people to develop new habits and so they are less likely to revert to old ways
  • since coaching deals with the root cause, the impact is enduring.
